Two completely different technologies: CRT, which was used on old TV's, that emmited X-ray radiation; and LED that is as damaging as visible light per se. So yeah...

Heh, I have the reverse experience tbh. Never met an insufferable cyclist but when I was in University I felt like going on a murderous rage everyday on many otakus. There were people I couldn't have a conversation about current affairs as their response is "I don't care about this country / continent / Western society, I just want to move to Japan" (at the least of my knowledge, none of them so far made that change), every single day, every single conversation had to reference anime and many didn't even seem to know how do real humans behave, specially women and girls and expect others to behave and react like characters they saw in anime and got extremely frustrated when they did not.

I say let them be as blatant as they want as long as they believe what they are saying. They do have a platform yes and if they believe it's the right thing to make use of it, I don't see a problem. Just as I don't need a problem.with Clint Eastwood crashing at a Republican conversations to express what he believes. This should be part of what instigates an healthy democratic debate. If the state of debate is not that much healthy in the US it's not their fault.
