Breaking the confessional seal *intentionally* means literal and automatic excommunication for the priest. Only the Pope may absolve the priest. It is not "much lower" in the sin list, it is quite literally one of the worst things a priest can do in the eyes of the church. Compared to ***ing kids, breaking the confessional seal is *much worse*, since it means an exclusion from the light of God, while touching kids will only lead to a transfer to another parish.
