That's a very realistic take. People grill his stance on guns a lot in light of his death, but he wasn't wrong. It's impossible to establish an armed society without some apples going bad every once in a while.
I think most people in "support of guns" understand that, but at the same time, most people against them are bothered by the fact that no action is being taken at all.

Man, I feel you. It's better to be upset sometimes than to be completely desensitized to all the horrible shit that comes at you online.
