To give actual context, this whole thing was announced in a thinly-veiled attempt to blindside people further abou the Parlimen't proceedings, after having the law letting the prime minister rule by decree, which he uses for what else but robbing the country even more blind than he already has. This is pretty apparent considering botht the fact, that this announcement was made at the end of the day and that discussion about trans rights has not been nearly as heated in media as in the west. From my experience - and I can only speak for people I know - people in geneal in Hungary are accepting of the 21st century gender ideology (well, most, but where is this not the case) and outrage around it is mostly just manufactured by the ruling party and the older generations they spur to protesting this, when they probably should be much more worried about the fact that the economy and basically all the nation's reserves have evaporated to offshore bank accounts.
But anyway, my point is that if this was done to get poeple to direct their attention to something else while they continue to *** everybody over, and it seems to have worked.

I haven't read the short novel, or even played the game (though I did see parts of it on YT), but my impression is that AM allowed it during the "game". He does stuff that clearly points to him being able to do this.
