The problem is there is no proof at all for such beings existence, just the word of some people. You can enjoy yourself proving them wrong (in most instances it´s pretty easy), but the science never will fall to that level, is far above that.

Actually no. It´s because no scientist will try to disprove the existence of something whos existence is not proven, because to him it doesn´t exist.
