Youre right. This is really just a matter of our own experiences with feminists. You've had bad experiences (the 20 bad feminists you've met) with feminists while I've had good experiences with them. therefore our definition of a feminists is different. I think we've reached an agreement. (I was actually enjoying this conversation)

I was using the visit thing as an example, there are other things which have happened to othe poeple i kow or my friends know. IThat is kinda what I was trying to say, Feminists are normal woman who want equality like most human beings. Manyu feminist have this wong image of men and generalize it as men being evil ***s who just want sex and to own women etc. Thats wrong, very wrong. but the same happens to feminists, because there are the feminists who say men are evil it makes people generalize all feminists as women who hate men. generalizing a group of people because of some bad apples is just not right. thats the point that im kinda trying to get across.I think a good way to understand would be by changing the feminist into the word fandom. as you might know there are a*holes in every fandom, sometimes 60% or 70% of the fandom are a*holes. Because og that other fandoms will generalize that fandom as a bunch of idiot who think they are better than others. Again, this is just an example and me trying to explain his the best way I can.

I know the "get in the kitchen" are not to be taken sriouslt, i was just using it as an example. and I have a hard time putting my thjoughts into words so i understand if you cant see where im coming from. and i agree that not many people care what someone wears but others do, (example i come from portugal and whenever i visit i feel like everyone is judging me and my clothing choice) i just want people to see the feminism isn't a joke for many people, that for some, it's a serious issue. Many feminist do take it to a a militant and aggressive degree and i do not agree with those feminists. I agree with the feminists who are calm and use logic to get their point across. (again im not good at putting my thoughts into words)

I agree that there are many feminists who are only a feminist because they hate men or want to have more power than men. But there are many feminists who do, in fact, want ACTUAL equality between both genders. I never remember saying that if you hate feminists you hate women, Of course that's not true (at least for the most part, there are men who hate women and women who hate men) And I dont think youre a misogynist, I understand where youre coming from but you must also understand where I'm coming from. This post was mainly for the people on here who make "get in the kitchen jokes", which i might say, are very unoriginal. I think this post is accurate because things like this are said. If a women wheears baggy or unattractive clothes people say they're not feminine enough yet if they wear more revealing or "feminine" clothing they're a ***. yet a man not wearing a shirt is acceptable. If the feminists you've met have said things like they want to be higher than men etc, then those are the wrong feminists to talk/listen to. And WHY does everyone bring up my user when I'm trying to post something serious.

The reason I posted this is because many times when I go into the comment section of a post about feminism or about a sexist joke (not just female but also male jokes) many of the comment seem like a 12 year old typed it trying to be funny by making unoriginal and sometimes offensive jokes (example "get back in the kitchen" or "this is why women shouldn't drive". Sorry im not sure how to word what I'm trying to say right. REAL feminism is the want for equality between men and women, and if a girl - friend of yours says otherwise, you should find a new friend.

by they don't fit, i meant they are sometimes to large for girls and it can be uncomfortable for them (considering many women have a smaller stature than many men)
