As a Dutch person, I might've felt insulted if this didn't come from a country full of individuals with a lisp.

I, for the first time in a couple of months feel human again. Last two months were ***ed by a period of sickness, followed by a 10% reorganisation at work, and depression hit me hard. My parents took me on a midweek holiday to the coast. Weather was crap, but it was fun. We did beach walks with their dog, made a shitton of puzzles together. It was fun. Yesterday and today I planned bouldering sessions with friends, which went far above my expectations.

I wanna keep my gains, can I get a non-alcohol radler?

I hope Slav does not mind me sneaking this bottle in.

I'm sorry to hear that, my friend. I've had the same experience with my grandpa approx. 1.5 years ago. It ***ing sucks. Cancer sucks. The waiting to die part, wanting to do something, wanting for the doctors to do something because "there's still time". It sucks. The way to deal with it, I think, is: Be there for your friend. Visit, often. Work is bullshit anyway, take a few days off. Share memories, reminisce, just, enjoy each other while you can. As for yourself, lean on friends, family and anyone willing to be a leaner. Hell, if you're nearby you're welcome for a drink man.

And good luck, friend. Stay strong.
