Definitely. I'm glad he didn't become cringe, but I still miss the good old days.

Per wikipedia:
"Infrastructure is the set of facilities and systems that serve a country, city, or other area."
AI serves humanity as much as Grima wormtongue served King Theoden. Namely, actively harming us in all aspects. So it can hardly be classes as infrastructure.
Per wikipedia:
"Terrorism, in its broadest sense, is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims." and
"In the law of war and international humanitarian law, a non-combatant is a person who is not taking a direct part in hostilities."
So if you don't hurt people, only disabling datacenters, it isn't terrorism.

I'm not endorsing blowing up shit. I simply take offense in you equating trucks of peace and whatnot (actual terrorism) to simply snipping some fiber optics or building a fun-sized EMP drone (no actual harm done).

I'm also bothered by people calling trillionaire megaprojects aimed solely at enriching the rich and disempowering the poor "infrastructure". People need infrastructure, such as power, gas, water, and the sewer, yet are actively harmed by AI shit, whether via misinformation, electricity prices or water scarcity.

Didn't you finish elementary school?
Not even (a) are less embarassing than (b).
That means:
(a) is super embarassing, yet (b), somehow, manages to be more embarassing.

My point is that AI datacenters aren't infrastructure. They are a cancer. Destroying infra negatively impacts humans = terrorism. Destroying cancer = heroism

TheTism · Commenter of the Day · 3 points ·
Terrorism on infrastructure isn't based, since actual humans can be impacted. Disabling an AI datacenter or 2 is based as *** tho.

Terrorism is degenerate, yet somehow, still the least degenerate thing that happens at furry cons. Not even foot fetishists are less embarassing than furries...
