I said they're trying, I didn't say they actually did a ton yet.

Besides that, if they actually DID change CoD a lot, just as many people would complain about the changes as there are people complaining it doesn't change.

Exactly. Besides that, if you saw the Multiplayer reveal stream, you'd know just how much was actually changed. Just in the movement, you can double jump, hover, turn invisible temporarily, and boost in all directions(and while in the air). That alone means all the maps are going to be made different to work with the higher jumps and vertical movement. I'll be the first to admit CoD is almost always the same thing, but they're at least trying to change things up a bit on this one.

You have to give them SOME credit. They're at least trying to make some changes here and there a bit more. Ghosts added leaning and vaulting(even if it IS badly done and taken from Battlefield), and Advanced Warfare is adding the rocket pack to double jump, and boost to the side, which changes how the maps are. The changes aren't huge, but at least they're changing more than they used to.

So far, I think Advanced Warfare has some of the biggest changes out of all the CoD games. There's now multiple versions of each gun with different stats. There's more character customization, there's random item drops. The maps are smaller but more vertical, new gun type, new item types. Plus even though some of it's the same, they're bringing back some of the better things from other CoD games like the Pick 13 system(pick 10 from Black Ops 2), and the Ranked Lobbies(league play).

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll still feel like most other CoD games, just with some slight variation. But at least they're TRYING to change some things this year, and not keeping it exactly the same. Honestly, I think Advanced Warfare is the least deserving CoD of "CoD never changes" quotes.

Look at all us "potato users" that don't care if your PC game is lower quality. As long as we can play it.
