Emulators man. Emulators.

Yeah, I did get that. I was merely commenting to agree with OP.

The only real "bad" things about fission is the radiation emitted and the resulting waste. The radiation gets blocked by radiation shields in the reactor its self, otherwise everything around the nuclear plant would be quite dead. The radioactive waste is simply buried in massive concrete drums, until we can find a better way to get rid of it. Granted, this system is not perfect, but its not even remotely close to how bad it seems most people think it is.

My original point still stands, in that we need to move away from fossil fuels. Inefficient solar power may be, it still does less overall harm than the burning of natural gasses and coal. Unfortunately, I don't think people are going to do so for another good few years.

Huh. I was not actually aware of that. What I was angling for with the solar farm thing was just that you can set up a single large one and power an entire city, such as the one in Africa. I did not know about the process behind making one.

Is this from Broforce? The artwork looks familiar.

I love how they show a nuclear plant. Seriously, those things provide more energy and harm the environment less than basically any other energy plant, with the possible exception of a solar or wind farm. I do not understand the stigma against these plants, the occurrences of them having an incident are few and far between, and happening less and less frequently as we develop the technology.
