Yes that is how it works.

You were warned it wouldn't be easy but nobody truly prepares you for how hard it can get.

I don't care how complex the mega autismo 300iq power systems of JJK and Kagurabachi are, I'll always prefer a more simple and creative concept like Gachiakuta being about sentimentality towards objects.

Mainly because I know 99% of this website would be fighting with fleshlights and dildo bats.

I'll be honest I really do have an immense hatred for the section of the AOT fanbase that insists the story as a trolley problem. First of all, Eren was always gonna go goblin mode and do the Rumbling - it was in his nature.

Secondly let's look at who is at fault - everyone just about (except Sasha's dad - he's cool. He forgave Gabi so hard she had an existential crisis and became a good person, the madlad). The Eldians were wrong for oppressing the world for 2000 years, Marley were wrong for then holocausting the Eldians for a century for revenge and Eren was wrong for destroying most of the planet in the name of "Muh freedom" which he never even got to enjoy himself the manbun wearing idiot - millenial school shooter looking ahh dumbass, gonna go get a grande latte and then commit war crimes like an edgy f*ggot instead of actually laying pipe to Mikasa like a real man like Jean would.

The whole situation was f*cked beyond repair before the story even started. The moral isn't "would you destroy the world to save your loved ones?", the moral is a cautionary tale to avoid letting the cycles of war and hatred reach such a boiling point that some angry little f*ck gets their hands on apocalyptic power and dooms us all.

They're like the weeaboo equivalent of those Jigsaw movie fans who go like "Ya know maybe John Kramer has a point ya know? Some people don't value life and Idk about you but I'd definitely chop off my own leg and beat a man to death with it in order to survive a death trap" and the normal people they're talking to who actually contribute to society are just awkwardly like "Um yeah that was a scary movie I guess, glad that's not my life."

Stupid gayass nerds I swear.
