it's ok to make sure something can't be abused. but i mean over balancing. this just leads to boring map designs nothing innovative, quirky or fun. like ban all fun because fun is usually not balanced.

you know in an environment meant for people to put fun first, not winning. thats the thing i think eSports negatively introduced a widespread competitivness pushing aside fun for everyone.

it's not fun losing when you are forced into a competitive environment, everyone is angry because they drop in rank or some bs, tense moods.

when i was younger i made of fun of people doing clan wars and being all serious about it because of a game. (well i still do)

yes you can't blame eSports for that alone like with most things but i think it is a big contender.
