what kind of standardized exam gives you the option to sleep?

well this is an anime after all. it's quite common to use English (and often bad English) words in fantasy-based worlds that are made in Japan, like the one in Overlord. It gives it more of a "West" feel. Sure it looks funny and appears less constructed than using an invented language or latin, but that would only be more ridiculous for the Japanese viewers, who are after all the targeted audience.

By the way, when it comes to the English translation of some Estearn elements, like the different martial art genres, they are just as ridiculous for Asian people as are the "spells" that Ainz casted for the Western audience.
