The word is “persecuted” not prosecuted. No, the racial wealth gap is larger than ever in history. There is no such thing as “Black on Black” crime nor “white on white” crime. People commit crimes against those they have access to. Policing in America is based on slave patrols, slave plantations were converted into prisons, drugs and guns are shipped into low income areas where residents are forced to fight over very limited resources. It comes down to which version of racism you choose to subscribe to; either built in systematic racism exists and is perpetuated by individuals knowingly and unknowingly or Black people are simply inferior and their actions are the result of mass moral failings. You can’t just cherry-pick.
