Winners having more influence on the perspective of history is a far cry from "winners write history". Evaluating an account of history takes more than considering who wrote it. It's an important thing to consider but it's far from the only factor.

You seem to be giving off the idea that because there was a winner and loser there can be no way to determine what the truth is. Yes we have to take account biases but bias does not invalidate evidence and certainly does not diminish the robust evidence we have of how awful Germany was. How much evidence do you require before we can tell the truth about them?
