Because sometimes you are full on rifle ammo, but you can pick up a brick and put it into your inventory.

I hate hard ammo limits, especially in survival games. part of being a survivor is hoarding.

ye but they had to keep it realistic. i mean you cant keep 130 ammo for an assault rifle in a zombie apocalypse cuz that things is heavy. unless you are like the rock and every move you do is your workout of the day XD

A weight system would have been appreciated. Nine bullets weigh less than a pound. Literally anybody could carry dozens of bullets in their pockets without it affecting their movements. Hard ammo limits is a catch-22. I have very little ammo, so I conserve it whenever possible. But if I get really good at conserving it, then I won't be able to pick up all the ammo I find.

its not JUST about the weight. imagine having a pencil. now imagine having 9 pencils in each pocket (left and right). its easier to move around without that much pencils in your pocket than having them there. they have to move around a lot so they have to only keep what they need, and in moderation. this may or may not make sense because i havent eaten in 8 hours XD
