The manga is too good, a series would spend their entire budget on a single episode, trying to make it look half as good as the manga.But yeah... Berserk adaptations 2016 and 2017 are so bad they're reaching cult status.
The 1997 anime is pretty darn good though.

I dunno man. Solo leveling has the most incredible art I've ever seen and that shit drops weekly. Maybe Koreans are just super-charged Japs though so idk.

It started out good, but the finale felt rushed and not very rewarding. It was also a bit too much of a cliche heroic adventure towards the end, to which Goblin Slayer is supposed to be the grim-dark reality check. The tone definitely didn't fit during the conclusion.
