Coal powered cars with extra steps.

damnstraight · 2 points · 3 years ago
Somebody made the caculations back the, and it's not even that bad (it emits like 50-60% like a relative good car).
The thing is that thermal power plants have a crazy yield, compared to an engine who's yield collapses at each acceleration.

compare filtration system of coal power plant and your car
compare efficiency of your car engine to engine of coal power plant

That's a crap argument - energy on the grid is increasingly coming from renewable sources. Just because it isn't perfect now isn't a reason to dismiss the concept.

even so, electric cars are better for the environment

ZsTestament · 1 points · 3 years ago
They are not you ***ing tit. We still have no way of safely disposing of the batteries used to power these cars. They will rot and destroy the environment where ever they end up. Quit parroting stupid talking points you don't understand.

y so butthurt? i didn't say they are zero waste or zero emission. they are only better than the regular car especially for the people who live in the cities.

$8/gal and americans are complaining. It's €2,32/liter here. (around $10/gal).

Flim · 5-Year Club · 1 points · 3 years ago
Concerned about the price of gas? Have you tried driving 1800 miles in a behemoth truck, protesting mandates that have been removed? Seems like that should help
