I don't think the cartel requires you to have a certification to work with a chainsaw.

Funny story, a few weeks ago I got my chainsaw certification. While training for it I came in contact with a chainsaw that was off, but the chain was still running, because I forgot to put the break in. It very cleanly cut off exactly just the skin so there was barely any bleeding and you could see the red flesh underneath. I was pretty lucky that the cut was neither deep nor big. It healed up pretty well. Definitely learned my lesson to always put the chain break in lol
