This is not a fact and maybe you can do a little research about this (I won't) but I believe something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gr7KmTOrx0 happens at some extent. Again, I won't say this is a fact without proof, but I've heard in engineering classes it can happen.

That's not true. It can be worse in the 7th floor than the 3rd and the 10th floor for example. It's not related to altitude, it's more about the building's structure.

you do know that 1970 and 1973 are different years right? And read the wikipedia article about his government http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gobierno_de_Salvador_Allende. Check the info about June 11th 1973 and don't say someone is wrong if you haven't done any research.
