Acktchyuallleee: Terror birds are not the ancestors of any water fowl. They do have some living relatives tho. Seriemas being the only surviving members of the same evolutionary group Cariamiformes (see pic). It is theorized that terror birds got screwed when the land bridge formed between north and south americas, as they were outclassed by large predatory mammals.
