There are a couple problems:
- the EU have a whole unelected officials system, that is already not democratic.
- 50 billion is not some "little decision" especially to not just a state who's not even a
member of the EU, but a state in war, so that 50 billion would be founding a war
- the decisions of the EU Parliament needs majority, and now not even that as they created a cheat law so they can count the absentee votes however they want
- even your metaphor is wrong as Hungary is not begging for the EUs money, and the EU is not helping a poor beggar with money out of their goodness, theis money is from a fund that Hungary put money in as well, more money in fact that they would get back from it, but it is the system of the EU to help members in need like Greece and like every other nation Hungary accepted the terms when joined so they put in the money they supposed to, and the EU unelected officials just tried to blackmail Hungary with money, and they just said what Elon did only even before him.

I hate this "we gave you mentality", the fckn Eu fund is a public piggy bank, everyone puts in money, than some unelected fcks decide how much money each country gets from the piggy bank.
Especially countries like Hungary that get less money from the EU, than they put it already, but even for countries like Greece most of the money is not given, just given back.
