Yeah, no, that entirely falls apart when you apply it to humans. Just because you treat someone nicely before you murder them doesn't justify the murder. True, it's less moral if you also treat them like garbage but it doesn't suddenly make it moral if you don't, it's on an entirely different scale.

Lmao this is so downvoted for being right. I eat meat but yeah, it's pretty hypocritical of people to get upset by animals being killed, but when it's for food it's a-ok. In my world view animals don't get any moral consideration since they don't have the capability to ever morally consider us either. If someone kills a random animal for fun that's kinda ***ed up of course since it signifies that the person doing it is not mentally stable if they get enjoyment out of that, but the act itself isn't immoral.
