Ideally, you wanna wake up between the REM phases to feel more rested. On average, one sleep cycle takes about 1:30hrs, so the best times to wake up are after 6, 7:30, or 9 hrs. Of course, the specific timing may be a bit different for everyone, but you just have to find out what exact durations of sleep work best for you. There's nothing worse than getting woken up in the middle of a dream. Leaves you feeling like a squeezed out lemon most of the day.
