ps. you as a person, are you happier if your government concentrates on making you happy, or if your government gets lost in its try at keeping its power position?

I am not saying that power did not lead to higher living standards / happiness, yet often governments depend too much on their foreign "power" instead of looking at what they could do inside their own nation..

pps. the nations that "matter" change every few centuries (as history shows) so why be proud of something that is bound to change and you yourselve did not create?

True, if checked by population size there are bound to be nations that provide more (in quantity) towards their populations... yet when looking at the percentages, scandinavian countries still outrank the rest...

also: "To potentially matter", i.e. get involved in everyone elses sh*t? Only useful for countries who cant sustain themselves and instead need to use their "power" to gain power over geopolitically important locations..

True that, but you are not taking various things into account

1. more people eat bbqs everyday than try lsd in a year.
2. we are speaking of all drugs - this includes pcp, crystal, mxe, benzos etc. most of which harm your body, or bring you into a state of mind were you would hurt your body (for some fun time reading Id tell you google PCP/angeldust horror stories ^^ its the craziest shit)... you cannot compare the drugs i just named to LSD or any other psychadelic...
3. Even thou LSD may not harm your body, I have had friends who had constant hallucinations for about 2 years (ok he tremendously over did it for 6 months beforehand... but still, damn!)
