The real question is about Darwinism and Creationism. Creationists say the chicken came first, it was created by God, and laid eggs. Darwin says one day a T-Rex laid an egg that was a bit less T-Rex and a bit more chicken, that the creature that got out laid an egg that was again a bit less T-Rex and a bit more chicken, and that millions of years later, the chicken that we have today is more chicken and less T-Rex that the creature that laid the egg which it came out of, so the egg came first.
